Awhitu hosted COVIC SHIELD

Great turnout on Tuesday 23rd June for the 5th round of the Covic Shield - vets comp between the local clubs round Franklin, south auckland and northern waikato. Thanks to all who attended and congratulations to the Awhitu team who won the day, particularly Andy Meyers - winner of the coveted claret jacket for player of the day. Also Steve Dowd and his team for presenting the course in great condition, the Club Cafe at Awhitu Golf Club team, and club's volunteers who made the day go smoothly.
